FIRE PEDESTALS

A purpose built fire pedestal with all the features required by the modern marina.

Anti theft - A flashing strobe light and a powerful siren will be activated if the Fire Extinguisher is removed from the pedestal, but a key operated disarming switch will allow regular servicing of the extinguisher.

Features:
High-Visibility Strobe Light Illuminates when the fire extinguisher is removed to fight a fire or in the event of unlawful fire extinguisher theft.

Standard Lighting Feature Power-saving high-output walkway lamp sweeps the dock around the fire station and contributes to the charm of the marina at night. (An optional photoelectric light-sensor automatically turns the walkway lamp on at night and turns it off during the day.

Advanced Wireless Communication An optional wireless transmitter can be configured to alert emergency personnel and/or the harbourmaster and to help pinpoint the location of the emergency or possible theft occurrence.

Advanced Security Cabinet Removal of the fire extinguisher trips a magnetic sensor activating a loud warning siren and the high visibility strobe light at the top of the pedestal. While a deterrent to theft, these security features also provide a loud and clear call for help in the event of an emergency.

Advanced Fire Security The Fire Station comes configured with a strobe light, audible warning siren, high-output walkway lamp, and an advanced security cabinet that houses up to a 9.1 kg (20-pound) fire extinguisher.
